Your questions, answered
What if I have swelling or trouble breathing?
Call 999 or go to A&E for difficulty breathing or swallowing, severe swelling affecting the eye or neck, or bleeding that will not stop. These symptoms need immediate medical attention.
What if the practice is closed?
Contact NHS 111 Wales for urgent advice when you cannot reach a dentist. Call 999 for a life-threatening emergency.
What should I do with a knocked-out adult tooth?
Seek urgent dental advice immediately. Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. If dirty, rinse gently in milk or saline. If you cannot put it back safely, keep it in milk and take it with you. Never reinsert a baby tooth.
Can you guarantee a same-day appointment?
Please call to check current availability. We cannot guarantee a same-day appointment; the team will advise you based on your symptoms and available appointments.
